When did you start VariousMeals.com?
I launched VariousMeals.com in 2010 during my toddler’s naptimes, which gave me those precious quiet moments to share recipes online. Friends often asked for my recipes, so I thought, why not make them accessible to everyone? A year later, I decided to turn it into a full-fledged business. Since then, we’ve shared over 1,200 recipes on VariousMeals.com.
How did you learn to cook?
My love for cooking started when I was a young girl, helping in my grandma’s kitchen. Over the past 20 years, I’ve been experimenting, creating, and refining my own recipes. I’ve also taken a range of classes and courses to continually improve my skills.
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Arizona. Over the years, we’ve moved around quite a bit for my husband’s medical training, spending time in Ohio, Oregon, and California. Recently, we settled back in Arizona to be closer to family.
What’s your favorite food?
That’s a tough one—I’m a fan of all kinds of food! My go-to snack has to be chips with homemade salsa and a side of guacamole. When it comes to dessert, I can’t resist a good cookie!
What do you enjoy doing for fun?
I love traveling to new places, exploring different restaurants and bakeries. My morning walks are a great way to start the day, and I enjoy creating and sharing new things. I also love cozy movie nights with my family, complete with a big bowl of popcorn.
