Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Pat the chicken breast completely dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the chicken cubes with half of the oil and a pinch of salt. In a separate bowl, toss the broccoli florets with the remaining oil.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, cornstarch, and red pepper flakes until the cornstarch is fully dissolved.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 6 minutes.
- Open the basket and add the broccoli florets. Shake the basket to distribute. Continue air frying for another 5-6 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F and the broccoli is tender-crisp.
- Transfer the chicken and broccoli to a clean bowl, pour the honey garlic glaze over the top, and toss until the heat from the ingredients thickens the sauce and coats everything evenly.
