Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 4 cups cold water

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 270°F (132°C) for 3 minutes to ensure a stable cooking environment.
  2. Place cold eggs directly from the refrigerator onto the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not touching for optimal air circulation.
  3. Set the timer based on desired doneness: 9-10 minutes for soft-boiled, 11-12 minutes for jammy yolks, or 14-15 minutes for hard-boiled eggs.
  4. While eggs are cooking, prepare an ice bath by combining 2 cups of ice and 4 cups of cold water in a large bowl.
  5. Immediately transfer the hot eggs to the ice bath using tongs. Let them sit for 5 minutes to stop the cooking process and loosen the membrane for easy peeling.
  6. Gently crack the shells and peel under cold running water or inside the ice bath.
