Ingredients:

  • 1 medium apple, cored (150g)
  • 1 medium carrot, peeled (60g)
  • 1/2 medium beetroot, peeled (60g)
  • 1 inch fresh ginger root, peeled
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup filtered water

Instructions:

  1. Wash all vegetables and fruit thoroughly. Core the apple and chop it into chunks. Peel the carrot and beetroot to remove the bitter outer skin, and slice the ginger into thin coins.
  2. Extract the liquid: For the juicer method, feed ingredients one by one, alternating between hard carrots/beets and the softer apple. For the blender method, blend all chopped ingredients with filtered water until smooth, then strain through a nut milk bag or fine-mesh strainer.
  3. Stir in the fresh lemon juice to brighten the flavor and prevent oxidation. Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately.
