Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp cocoa nibs

Instructions:

  1. In the Ninja Creami pint container, whisk together the cocoa powder, sugar, and salt to break up any large clumps.
  2. Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract; use a handheld frother to blend into a thick, smooth paste.
  3. Slowly pour in the whole milk and heavy cream, frothing or whisking vigorously until the mixture is homogeneous and glossy.
  4. Level the top of the mixture with a spoon to ensure the surface is flat.
  5. Secure the lid firmly and place the pint on a level surface in the freezer for 24 hours.
  6. Remove the pint from the freezer, lock it into the Ninja Creami outer bowl, and select the 'Ice Cream' function.
  7. If the consistency is crumbly, add 1 tbsp of whole milk to the center and select the 'Re-Spin' function.
  8. Create a hole in the center of the ice cream, add chocolate chips or cocoa nibs, and select the 'Mix-In' function.
