  • 2 tbsp (30g) sour cream
  • 3 tbsp (45ml) apple cider vinegar
  • 2.5 tbsp (30g) granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) lemon juice
  • 1 tsp celery seed
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, and dry mustard. Whisk vigorously until the sugar is completely dissolved to ensure a smooth texture.
  2. Add the mayonnaise and sour cream to the vinegar mixture. Start whisking from the center, gradually pulling in the fats until the mixture is glossy and perfectly smooth.
  3. Whisk in the celery seed, sea salt, and cracked black pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary before tossing with cabbage.
