Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs frozen pre-cooked beef meatballs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 stalks green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Lightly grease the interior of a 6-quart slow cooker with olive oil and spread the frozen meatballs evenly across the bottom in a single or double layer.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Pour the glaze mixture evenly over the meatballs.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours (or HIGH for 2 hours) until the sauce reaches a glossy, syrupy consistency.
  5. Gently stir the meatballs with tongs to ensure they are fully coated in the reduction, then turn the slow cooker to the 'Warm' setting.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds immediately before serving.
