Ingredients:

  • 1 lb pre-cooked frozen beef meatballs
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Pour the ketchup, bourbon, honey, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes into your skillet.
  2. Whisk the mixture over medium heat. Note: Do this until the sugar crystals disappear
  3. Wait for the sauce to begin bubbling and thickening slightly. until you see a slow simmer
  4. Carefully add the frozen meatballs directly into the pan. Note: No need to thaw them first
  5. Stir constantly for about 1 minute to ensure every meatball is fully coated in the syrup.
  6. Turn the heat up to medium high.
  7. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. until the sauce reduces to a thick, glossy syrup
  8. Remove from heat immediately once the glaze clings tightly to the meatballs and doesn't pool at the bottom.
  9. Transfer to a serving platter while still hot to prevent the glaze from setting into a hard shell.
