- 1 clove (3g) garlic, peeled
- 1/2 tsp (3g) salt
- 1/4 tsp (1g) ground cumin
Instructions:
- Place the chopped onion, jalapeño, garlic, and cilantro into the blender first to ensure aromatics are fully incorporated.
- Add the fire-roasted tomatoes, lime juice, salt, and cumin.
- Use the Pulse button in 1-second bursts until the mixture looks coarse and pebbled; avoid continuous blending to prevent it from becoming a puree.
- Taste the salsa and adjust by adding a pinch more salt for flavor or a squeeze of lime for additional brightness.
