Ingredients:
- 2 Everything or Sesame Bagels
- 4 oz (115g) Smoked salmon
- 4 tbsp (60g) Full-fat cream cheese
- 1 tsp Freshly chopped dill
- 1/2 tsp Fresh lemon zest
- 1 tbsp Capers, drained
- 1/4 Red onion, shaved paper-thin
- 4-6 Fresh cucumber rounds
- Freshly cracked black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven broiler to high. Slice your bagels in half and place them cut-side up on the baking sheet. Broil for 2 to 3 minutes until edges are golden-brown.
- In a small bowl, fold the fresh dill and lemon zest into the softened cream cheese until aerated and fluffy.
- Let the bagels cool for 60 seconds. Spread the cream cheese mixture on both halves of each bagel.
- Layer the shaved red onion into the cream cheese, top with ruffled smoked salmon ribbons, and finish with capers, cucumber rounds, and black pepper.
