Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 24 oz frozen beef meatballs
Instructions:
- Combine bourbon, brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, garlic powder, and pepper in a pan over medium heat. Whisk constantly until the sugar dissolves and the mixture begins to bubble.
- Lower the heat and simmer for 5–7 minutes until the glaze reaches the syrup stage, thickening enough to coat the back of a spoon and turning a deep mahogany hue.
- Add the meatballs to the pan and stir gently to coat every surface. Continue to cook for 5–10 minutes until meatballs are heated through and the sauce reduces into a sticky crust.
