Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 24 oz frozen beef meatballs

Instructions:

  1. Combine bourbon, brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, garlic powder, and pepper in a pan over medium heat. Whisk constantly until the sugar dissolves and the mixture begins to bubble.
  2. Lower the heat and simmer for 5–7 minutes until the glaze reaches the syrup stage, thickening enough to coat the back of a spoon and turning a deep mahogany hue.
  3. Add the meatballs to the pan and stir gently to coat every surface. Continue to cook for 5–10 minutes until meatballs are heated through and the sauce reduces into a sticky crust.
