Ingredients:
- 2 lbs Mixed heirloom tomatoes
- 1 tsp Flaky sea salt
- 1/2 cup Fresh basil leaves
- 3 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Cracked black pepper
- 1 small clove Garlic
Instructions:
- Arrange the sliced heirloom tomatoes on a large platter, overlapping them slightly in a colorful circle.
- Sprinkle half of the flaky sea salt evenly over the tomatoes and let them sit for 5 minutes to draw out excess moisture.
- In a small jar, combine the extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, minced garlic, and black pepper.
- Shake the jar vigorously for 30 seconds until the dressing is opaque and velvety.
- Pour the dressing evenly over the salted tomatoes.
- Scatter the torn basil leaves across the top and finish with the remaining pinch of flaky sea salt.
